The Love Local Jobs Foundation is a registered charity supporting young people who are struggling with confidence, aspiration, and direction, particularly those at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).

We know that success isn’t just about qualifications. Many young people face hidden barriers such as low self-belief, anxiety, lack of role models, and limited understanding of what’s possible for them. These barriers are often what stand between a young person and their next step in education, work, or training.

Through mentoring, real stories from local employers, and honest conversations about life and work, we help young people identify what’s holding them back and find the confidence and skills to move forward.

We work in partnership with schools, ethical employers, public sector organisations, and community groups to reduce the number of young people who become NEET. Together we create meaningful, real-world opportunities that prepare them not just for jobs, but for life beyond school.
