To our Love Local Jobs Foundation community and network of supporters,
The end of the academic year is just around the corner but the team are still hard at it. June was an incredible month which saw us deliver a mix of in-school Dare to Dream events and modern workplace experiences for a whopping 2,300+ students.
A fantastic achievement by the team and everyone involved in enabling these essential, careers-led interactions that play such a vital role in the personal development of our region’s next generation of talent.
With the weather heating up and the summer holidays just around the corner, we're excited to step into July and finish the school year on a real high.
But before all that, here's a quick round up of some of the many highlights from June...
We recently had an amazing and inspiring conversation with Jake, a former Dare to Dream student, who has truly embraced the programme’s core messages in his studies, business ventures, and powerlifting journey!
We'll be sharing more of the conversation on our socials soon, but here's a quick snippet of some advice that applies to us all 💪
Feedback we just had to share!
We talk a lot about the positive impact Dare to Dream has on our young people and what they can take away from their experience, but there's so much the business mentors who are involved can get out of the programme too, both in their home life and at work!
Thanks so much for the kind words and for getting involved as a mentor this year...

Know a business that shares our vision?
We are passionate about creating a community where every young person is inspired and empowered to become their best self...
And we are always open to hearing from brilliant businesses across the South East who are keen to empower their staff and give something back to the young people in their local community!
Is there someone in your network at a business that you think Dare to Dream would be the perfect fit for? If so, and you can introduce us to them, why not pay it forward today 😊

In case you missed it, we recently announced that former Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club captain and current Sky Sports, ITV and TNT Sports pundit and co-commentator, Adam Virgo, has joined the Love Local Jobs Foundation on a permanent basis!
And of course, with it being his background and it being the transfer window currently, we just had to get a photo of our 'new signing'.
What happens when a former captain of a Premier League football club brings his passion and purpose to the Foundation? We think it’s going to be a game changer.
Find out why 👇

Here are a few snaps from some of the wonderful modern workplace experiences that took place in June.
Thanks so much to everyone involved from Clarke Roofing, Focus Group and 247 for being so welcoming and for putting on such fantastic experiences for the students.

To all the mentors and everyone else behind the scenes that work so hard to make the Dare to Dream programme so impactful, thank you so much for all your hard work.
And of course, thank you to everyone who continues to support us and share our messages!
