Dare to Dream Roundup - March Newsletter

To our Love Local Jobs Foundation community and network of supporters,

March was our best month yet—brilliantly busy and packed with impact! We delivered 15 school events, six workplace visits, and reached 3,000 students. It was a record-breaker for 1:1 mentoring sessions, volunteer involvement, and Dare to Dream assemblies!

We also launched new partnerships, wrapped up others for the academic year, and hosted plenty of workplace visits.

As April begins, here’s a look back at an incredible March at the Love Local Jobs Foundation!

Feedback we just had to share!

The team were delighted to receive this feedback in March from a wonderful Year 9 student ❤️

We talk a lot about the impact our programme events have and so to hear that they're using the tools and support given by Jack and their mentor to help them cope with some of the challenges they're facing really means a lot!

Know a business that shares our vision?

We’re looking for new sponsors to help us deliver more programmes and support even more young people.

If you can introduce us to someone at a business looking to engage with their local community and empower their staff, we’d love to hear from you!

Kreston Reeves mentors share their experiences

Hear from two of Kreston Reeves' awesome volunteer mentors, Freddie Brand and Katy Costigan on their experiences participating in the Dare to Dream programme and supporting students from Dorothy Stringer School.

Thanks to the team from Mayo Wynne Baxter for this awesome write-up of their volunteer mentors' experience taking part in the Dare to Dream programme and their partnership with the Year 9 students from Hove Park School!

We were delighted to deliver no fewer than SIX incredibly engaging and insightful workplace visits throughout March!

A huge thank you to the teams at Southern Water, Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Paxton Access and London Gatwick Airport for your hard work and effort that went in to delivering such important experiences for the students.

There's so much that goes on behind the scenes to put on these days and we appreciate everything you do 😀

Here are a few snaps from Oakwood students' visit to London Gatwick Airport

A big thank you to everyone involved with the Dare to Dream programme throughout March, and of course, thank you to everyone who continues to support us and share our messages!
