Following the 2018 launch by our famous ambassador, Harry Redknapp, the LoveLocalJobs Foundation C.I.C has turned one. The Foundation was created to continue the good work that LoveLocalJobs.com had been carrying out through five years of Be the Change delivery and work within communities and schools.
The Foundations aims and objectives are to raise aspirations of the next generation, providing young people with the tools, hope and confidence to take advantage of the opportunities in the local area.
Over the course of year the team have delivered:
12 Dare to Dream talks
5 Be the Change programmes
3 Take the Leap trips
In real terms, this means we have worked with:
2000 young people
200 business guides
30 different businesses
Commercial Director for LoveLocalJobs.com and The LoveLocalJobs Foundation CIC, Paul Scrivens, said “We’re extremely proud to be celebrating our first Foundation birthday. Since the launch of our first Jobs Board in 2010 helping to raise the aspirations of our local young people has been a priority. Connecting the disparate worlds of education and employment via inspirational conferences, mentoring and workplace insights has a positive and measurable impact on all involved. We remain committed to further developing our essential network of collaborating organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors so we can help to create positive futures for even more of our local next generation.”
We would like to thank all our partners and sponsors for supporting us over the past year and look forward to another year of amazing delivery.
