I love the moment when a student stands and tells a room full of people the reasons they love themself.
Hearing stories about them stepping out of their comfort zone and achieving something they didn't think they could, and just seeing a quiet student really smile and engage with other people they wouldn't usually interact with is amazing.

I love how we all work as a team, I love all the people we get to meet and I love the difference we get to make to their lives!

I love those moments when you see something change in the young people right before your eyes - a round of applause, contributing to a team task, being trusted to mentor a year 7...
It’s those micro moments when you witness things starting to make sense, and the flame starting to flicker. It’s wonderful. I love it.

Working with the brilliant businesses and schools gives me a huge perspective of so much outside the world of football.
It’s taught me a lot about myself as a person. I love seeing the students grow each time we visit and witnessing the impact Dare to Dream has on them.

I love the collective effort and strong sense of connection within the LLJF team. This, combined with engaged local businesses and schools, creates a huge positive impact on so many students in a short space of time.
Those finishing Dare to Dream do so with stronger self-belief, louder voices and bigger smiles!

I love meeting all the amazing volunteers who dedicate their time to mentor the students and seeing how the students get so much out of Dare to Dream and start to realise how amazing they really are.
