To our Love Local Jobs Foundation community and network of supporters,
We're now two months into this academic year's Dare to Dream programme and what an amazing two months it's been!
Six wonderful businesses were involved throughout October and with the help of their brilliant volunteer mentors, Jack and the team were able to deliver 'The Journey' and 'The Skills' events to over 2,000 Year 9 students.
Here's a little snapshot of what's been happening across the Love Local Jobs Foundation in recent weeks...
A few photos from 'The Journey' and 'The Skills' events that took place throughout October
A big thank you to everyone involved and for helping to run such engaging and valuable events!
We’d also like to share a number of the comments from the mentored students when asked about how they felt at the start of the programme.
As we work together with the supporting businesses and schools to change the way young people think about their future, we’re excited to discover how their comments differ at the end of the Dare to Dream Programme.
The Love Local Jobs Foundation team can only do what we do and support the next generation across Sussex thanks to the time, commitment and generosity that you’ve all poured into our programme.
We’re determined to continue making our work increasingly accessible, so if you’re involved this year or you've followed what we've been doing over the years, please do get in touch and spread the word within your own networks - we'd LOVE to hear from anyone who might be able to help us do even more this year 😊
Thanks again!
The Love Local Jobs Foundation Team
